Receiving News Alerts

One of the powerful features of the IA is its ability to notify you when an important Alert has been issued. Your IA program provides you with the following Alert options:

1. Alert Mode: A flashing icon on your system tray will notify you of an incoming Alert. Simply click on the icon and your IA will open.

2. Pop Up Mode: You may choose to have your IA open automatically on your desktop, displaying the News Alert on your screen.

3. Audio Alert - You may choose to add an audio alert  that will notify you, even if you are not near your screen.

To alternate between Alert modes, simply open your IA window (click on the IA System Tray icon), click on the "MENU" and select your alert preference.

Will I receive Alerts even if I am not home?

Sure, as long as your computer is online and your IA program is activated, you will receive alerts. Once you return home simply open your IA window and get updated!

REMEMBER! if you are off line, you must first connect to the Internet, and only then will your recent News Alerts be downloaded.
